Near Westside Neighborhood Assoc., Inc. has been awarded $600,000 in grant funds from the New York State Affordable Housing Corporation to administer an owner-occupied home improvement program.  The program is designed to provide low to moderate-income homeowners in the City of Elmira with grant funds to cover a portion of the cost of necessary home repairs.

Eligible households can earn no more than 80% of the area median income as established by HUD, and all mortgage, homeowner insurance, property taxes, and utility payments must be up to date.
